Bryte is committed to our role as a responsible and sustainable business and to helping develop the communities in which we operate.
We do this by combining the principle of sustainability with our business operations and stakeholder value propositions. Our CSI framework encompasses three pillars:
In addition, we have partnered with initiatives that allow us to achieve these commitments, of which empowerment and transformation form a critical part.
The Maharishi Institute (MI) is a learning institution that provides education access, skills development, personal development tools, and a supportive environment to young South Africans from disadvantaged communities.
Bryte is committed to identifying individuals and developing them into professionals with an agile and entrepreneurial mindset, which will ensure the next generation of successful insurance professionals. And we believe MI is the right tertiary institution to help deliver on this goal.
The Maharishi Institute is led by Dr Taddy Blecher and, since its formation in 2000, the institute has produced over 23 000 graduates, placed 21 000 into jobs, and is on target to educate 100 000 future leaders over the next three decades.
Our partnership helps the Maharishi Institute reduce state dependency by creating an insurance-specific postgraduate qualification and providing access to high-quality, inexpensive international qualifications for young people who have been excluded from traditional tertiary opportunities.
